Cadyn Fraley is a 2016 graduate of WVU who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Public Relations. As a competitive dancer at Elite Performance Academy, she has won various titles and events as a soloist and a member of the senior company. She is a two- time winner of the Concert Dance category of the Marshall University SCORES competition, 2011 and 2013. Throughout her dance career, she was selected, by audition, to attend Point Park International Summer Intensive, Cincinnati Ballet Summer Intensive, and WV Governor’s School of the Arts. Before accepting a scholarship to WVU, Cadyn, by audition, was admitted to the Commercial Dance program at Pace University in NYC. Cadyn has taken Master Classes in Pointe and Ballet from Misty Copeland and the late David Howard. She also studied at the Broadway Dance Center in NYC. While at WVU, Cadyn was selected to perform in many pieces, including, Standing Tall, that is archived in the National 9/11 Museum in New York City. As a choreographer, while at WVU, she was employed by local high school theatre departments, and she organized a benefit dance show for Autism Speaks.
Cadyn has been a teacher at Elite since 2017. Her choreography and her students have received numerous regional awards; however, what means the most to her, is the opportunity to help motivate and instill a passion for dance in her students.
