Owner/Director; Jazz, Tap, Contemporary-Lyrical, and Petite Troupe
Anna is a founding member of Elite. As a student she trained in acro-tumble, ballet, contemporary-lyrical, jazz, pointe, tap, and twirling. Anna was a member of Elite’s dance company. As a company member under the instruction of Marlo Shaver Preston, she performed at numerous community events and local dance competitions. Anna was a member of the dance team and flag corps at Huntington High School and the flag corps Marshall University. Anna began assisting the creative movement classes at Elite when she was fourteen years old. After graduating high school, she taught her first class (tap-jazz), and in 2017, Anna assumed ownership of Elite Performance Academy.

Emaleigh began dancing and baton twirling at the age of two and began training under Marlo Shaver Preston at Elite in 2008. Emaleigh attended Huntington High School where she was a member of the cheerleading team and color guard. She also coordinated and directed a dance benefit, featuring Elite, her senior year. After graduating, she went on to become a member of the Marshall University dance team. Emaleigh began teaching Creative Movement during her sophomore year of college, after assisting the class for several years. Since then, Emaleigh has taught a variety of classes that she is very passionate about including Combination, Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Petite Troupe. Emaleigh truly loves helping her students express themselves through dance!
Mandy has been singing and performing her entire life. She credits her musically gifted parents, Larry and Che-Che Mobley, for teaching her the importance of quality music and how to communicate through song. Mandy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business from Anderson University (Anderson, IN) in 1994. She was a soloist in churches and concert hall across the United States, Finland, Sweden and Russia. She earned a Master’s Degree in Voice Performance from Marshall University in 2001, where she auditioned for and won all eligible vocal competitions and solos. Between earning degrees, Mandy continued voice lessons in Brooklyn N.Y., performed at The Airport Playhouse in Bohemia, Long Island, auditioned for the N.Y. Metropolitan Opera National Council, and was selected to perform at a Master Class at the University of Kentucky for the famous soprano, Anna Moffo. Mandy taught private lessons at Kentucky Christian University (2000-2004) and Marshall University (2005-2006). She also appeared as Gretel in MU’s production of “Hansel and Gretel”. In 2007, she joined the pastoral staff of Teays Valley Church of God in Scott Depot, WV, as the director of Worship Arts. She leads their 50 member adult choir, worship teams, band and congregation in music each week. Mandy joined Elite Performance Academy as the Vocal Instructor in 2010 and has thoroughly enjoyed her students!
Jumps, Leaps and Turns
Grace started dancing at the age of three, and began her twelve year journey at Elite in 2005. Grace was a part of Elite’s original Mini-Troupe Dance Company. She was also a founding member of the Junior Dance Company. Grace was awarded many regional and national honors during her competitive dance career with Elite. She participated in Marshall University’s S.C.O.R.E.S. competition in the dance solo division, winning first place as a sophomore in high school. She also traveled to NYC, where she trained with the Joffrey Ballet School in the jazz/contemporary program.
Acro - Tumble
Kimba began teaching at Elite in 2014. Kimba has been been a cheerleading, gymnastics, and acro-tumble instructor for fifteen years. She was involved in cheerleading most of her life. Kimba is passionate about her students and loves helping them achieve their goals.
Ballet & Pointe
Bridget is a founding instructor at Elite Performance Academy. Her dance training began in Illinois at the University of Illinois youth extension program, before she moved to Huntington and continued her dance training with Patti Shaver and Dickenson School of Dance. Bridget has received technical training in a variety of disciplines including ballet, jazz and cheerleading. She is a beautiful and inspiring ballet dancer and is committed to sharing her lovely technique with her students on a weekly basis.
Lyrical & Jazz
Maddie has danced at Elite Performance Academy for fourteen years and was one of the founding students of the Mini-Troupe Dance Company. While at Elite, Maddie trained in ballet, pointe, contemporary-lyrical, acro-tumble, tap, hip-hop, and jazz. As a student, Maddie assisted in ballet, contemporary-lyrical, and jazz. Maddie attended summer dance intensives on scholarship including the Joffrey Ballet School Jazz and Contemporary In NYC, WVU Dance Camp, and Dancerpalooza in Long Beach, CA.
Twirling/ Field Corps
Deanna is a founding instructor at Elite Performance Academy. Her training began with Patti Shaver and Dickenson School of Dance which carried her to train with Dance Educators of America and with Fred Miller Summer Twirling Clinics. She has received technical training in a variety of disciplines including baton, flag, hoop and ribbon twirling, acrobatics, ballet, jazz, and cheerleading. Deanna was a majorette at Huntington High School and a member of the flag corps at Marshall University. Her love of twirling and field corps performing motivates her to pass these techniques to future generations.
Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz, Teen/Senior Company
Cadyn Turley is an early graduate from West Virginia University with a degree in Dance and Public Relations. Cadyn studied for nine years under Marlo Shaver Preston at Elite Performance Academy. During her time with Elite she was an award winning soloist in various dance competitions. Cadyn also attended Governor’s School of the Arts in 2010. She also received two first place awards for Concert Dance at the MU SCORE competition in 2011 and 2013. Furthermore, she received additional training at summer intensives at Point Park University and master classes with Misty Copeland and David Howard. Recently she choreographed for celebration of dance at WVU, Bye bye birdie at University high school in Morgantown and a fundraiser for Autism Speaks.
Alexis started dancing at Elite when she was seven years old, and continued for eleven years. Alexis was a member of the Elite dance companies. Throughout her years at Elite, she trained in jazz, tap, acro-tumble, contemporary-lyrical, hip-hop, ballet and pointe. While at Huntington High School, Alexis participated in theater, and appeared in and choreographed various Show Choir productions.
